New tires

Some people think I need to get new tires soon. My Dad doesn't seem to think I need them right away. All my tires failed the penny test if you know what that is, if not, I can explain it to you or you can look it up yourself. Anyway, I went to Discount Tire and Pep Boys and a few other places and the cheapest ones I have found are around $360-$400 total. That is a lot of freakin money for tires. I think I could wait another 3-6 months, but some people keep bothering me about it and say it's unsafe. My tires aren't bald or anything either. I don't think it's necessary to spend that kind of money that I don't have right now.

it is indeed very unsafe and it is necessary to spend that kind of money on it. not worth the risk.

I assumed that my tires had failed the penny test because someone else did the test, but to make sure, I tested them myself and they did not appear to fail it. There is still tread on there above Lincoln's head, so I see no reason to get new tires now. Troy even looked at them himself and said that they were probably ok for a while. Maybe in 3-6 months I'll look at them again.
