Big plans after graduation?

Well, I graduate in like 2 months; it's coming up fast. I've been trying to think of something really fun to do after I graduate. A lot of people have told me they're going on a cruise, or on a nice long trip or something awesome. I think I deserve to do something great for all my hard work in school. I'd really like to go on a cruise like near Cancun or something. Flying somewhere out of state for like 4-5 days would be awesome too. The problem is that I don't know of anyone to go with me. For one thing, it could possibly cost a lot of money, even if it's split 4 ways. It would be really nice if my parents would pay for it for me as a graduation present. I don't know if they're planning on getting me anything or doing anything for me. Even if they paid for just some of it, that would be cool, but I'm not counting on that.

Another thing is that some people are already going on a big trip in the summer, so they won't want to spend any more money to go on a trip with me, which sucks. I guess another problem would be the fact that I'm a girl and most of my friends are guys and for some reason people seem to have a problem with the idea of me sharing a hotel room with my guy friends even though most of them are just like brothers to me.

So, that pretty much leaves Troy and a few other friends I have. I think Troy would be up for doing something, but I don't know about the others. I wish that I could plan a big trip to New York or Florida or something and take 3 other people, but I just don't see that happening. A cruise isn't cheap either. This sucks.

I don't want to just go on some day trip to some stupid city in Texas that I've already been to or to some run down ghost town in Texas. I want to get out of Texas for a change. I haven't been outside of Texas since I went to Las Vegas like 3 years ago.

Does anyone have any thoughts or ideas of what I could do?

as for me, if I get accepted to the JET program, I won't want to do anything in the summer after graduation, including work if I can help it.

drink, smoke, get sexed up, and if you can manage it, have a barbed-wire-fisticuffs match with a midget. that'd be a good way to celebrate graduation.
