Man, working just really sucks. I've been here since 8:30 and I've done about an hour's worth of work. I did go see a client, but other than that, today has been a waste of time.
I wish I didn't have to work 40 hours a week right now. I wish I could go outside to the park like the Botanical Gardens or something. Instead, I'll get off work between 5:30 and 6 when it's completly dark and after everyone has already eaten dinner and made plans without me. Sigh :-(
Sometimes I miss being in high school when I didn't have a job and I had like a month off in Dec/Jan.

You ought to work out a deal with your boss where you get to go home early when there's nothing to do and then you more readily stay late when there are things to do. Or on some days you ought to take long lunches to go to the park or something in exchange for staying later in the evening. I dunno, whatever.
yeah, flex time is good. see if your boss is game.
