Raiders beat the Cowboys!

Yay! My team finally beat the Cowboys. I was disappointed when the 49ers blew the game last week in the last two minutes and lost to the Cowboys. But this weekend, my other home boys won against the Cowboys and did a good job of stopping them on offense most of the game. The critical stop came at the end when the Cowboys were on the 10 yard line and the Raiders stopped them on all four downs. Yay!

It must suck for Troy though. I feel bad for him, but not really. His teams have beaten mine twice this year, so its only fair that my team win once.

I'm glad football season is here. It gives us something to do on Sundays.

And you probably won't watch your "home boys" play another game for the rest of the year...

Probably not, but it doesn't matter because they both suck, just like the Cowboys.

Sorry, I can't help the fact that I learned to hate the Cowboys when I was growing up.

What about the home team?
Where do you live???

Dallas is not my home team. I live in Funky Town, which is not Dallas or Irving.

Yes, I know most people consider the Cowboys to be the home team for both Dallas and Fort Worth and all surrounding suburbs. I don't care though. Lots of people don't root for their home team.

Ok, I guess they aren't my "home" boys, but they're still my boys.

I mean, since when are you from Tampa Bay, Bryan? I like the Raiders just like you like the Bucs.

And yes, anonymous, since you currently live in SF, you are better than Troy... no not really, but good try.

I guess I didn't know there was a difference between "boys" and "favorite team". I will probably continue to use those terms interchangeably.

I don't think it matters what the reason is that I like the 49ers or Raiders. I never said that you liked the Bucs because your dad does anyway.

But, either way, yes, my dad likes the 49ers and Raiders, therefore I like them. But I also like them because both teams are from the Bay Area. I like the Bay Area regardless of what my dad thinks. I think the Bay Area is beautiful and there is so much cool stuff to do there. I just like San Francisco and Oakland in general.
